Mission of Asian College of Teachers

The mission of Asian College of Teachers is to prepare excellent global educators who will have the competences and skills in the field of Teacher Training that are becoming more and more important in 21st century. The various teacher training courses are intended to accord the modern educators with quality which will not only give them unique teaching expertise to lead diverse classrooms across the globe shaping young minds and inspiring change but will be innovative as well and can build a flourishing learning environment.

Significance of the logo

ACT believes in making teaching professionals lead diverse classrooms across the globe and provide them with exceptional learning and employment opportunity. The courses will lead the teachers towards a flourishing teaching career. Even the logo symbolizes our mission with the book in the middle symbolizing knowledge. The dots are pointing learners of every hue and colour because our reach has no boundaries of time and space. The two circles symbolize the globe, the outer circle the world at its large and the inner circle Asia in particular. The circle ends do not meet as we believe in the fact that our growth remains a constant process and we are always in a development mode and project to be present in every corner of the globe. The human form on the extreme left signifies man's attempt to always strive and we ourselves believe in that and would like to help our learners to do the same. The colour blue stands for the vastness of the ocean and the sky while the orange signifies energy and positivism.

A call to "act"

The acronym for Asian College of Teachers is ACT but it is also a call to 'act' to fruitful learning, career and growth. To ACT is to take possession of one's own career as an individual by becoming a teacher. Teachers touch lives of millions. They transform, create and bring about change in individuals, societies and nations. Hence, the tagline goes perfect "Teach and Touch Lives".
