Week 1 sets the groundwork for becoming an effective English language teacher. Trainees are introduced to essential teaching methodologies, language learning theories, and foundational skills necessary for the classroom.
By the end of Week 1, trainees are instructed to prepare for their first peer teaching session.
Week 2 shifts focus to the application of skills in teaching core language components like listening, reading, grammar, and pronunciation. Trainees begin peer teaching and receive detailed feedback.
By the end of Week 2, trainees are expected to finalize prep for upcoming reading peer teach and listening teaching practice.
Week 3 is the final and most practical week, dedicated to real-time teaching practice, portfolio completion, and celebration of progress. This week emphasizes innovative lesson delivery and final evaluations.
